Claudmar Kittens are Offered Under the Following Health Guarantee:
-
Health of your new kitten is guaranteed by us for a period of 2 months from the date of purchase, for all diseases or infections that can by proven to have commenced while the kitten was in my care. A letter or phone call from your Veterinarian is required to prove any claims. The guarantee stands unless the kitten has been neglected or treated inappropriately to the needs of the breed, and this will be verified by my Veterinarian with your Veterinarian.
Any kittens found to be affected by disease or infections during this period, that can be verified by your Veterinarian as having commenced in my care, will be replaced immediately.
No Veterinary costs will be entered into unless prior arrangements have been made with me and authorised. Under this guarantee (where the above conditions are satisfied), Claudmar birmans will not reimburse veterinary costs which exceed the purchase price of the kitten.
-
Any kittens found to have a congenital defect (AT ANY TIME) as determined by a written Veterinarian report will be replaced immediately or the purchase price refunded.
-
Claudmar Birmans are guaranteed to be free of ear mites, fleas, ticks, Feline Leukaemia and Feline Aids. All parents of kittens are Felv and FIV tested on a routine basis.
-
Exposure of kittens to disease, neglect or inappropriate environmental conditions will immediately terminate this health guarantee. This will be verified by my Veterinarian with your Veterinarian.
Conditions of Sale:
-
Due to issues with personal cheques and future payments, all kittens sold must be paid for IN FULL at the time of collection. Payment must be made by cash, bank cheque, or money order, or if paying by personal cheque have cleared prior to collection. No kitten will leave until such time as payment has been received in full. This is not negotiable.
-
No kitten will leave Claudmar Birmans without a safe means of travel to its new home. This means an approved cat carry cage, soft sided bag designed for cats or at the very least, an enclosed box. Kittens are very easily injured as a result of not being restrained in vehicles during travel and it is not acceptable to simply carry kitty home in a shirt or nurse him or her. Cat carry cages or soft sided bags can be purchased very cheaply from pet stores, Aldi supermarket, or are available at my home for $35.00.
-
All kittens are now sold desexed, unless sold to registered breeders.
