A gentle nudge, a soft, soft, purr,
Curled snug, against, my mother's fur,
Content am I, as I nuzzle in,
To suckle the sustenance, she provides within,
Sustained with nourishment, giving growth and strength,
I nestle beside her, warm and fed,
With a gentle brush, of her cleansing tongue,
I’m washed and clean, ready to sleep, again,
Her maternal care, is always there,
Softly she purrs, as I lie snug, against, her soft, soft, fur.
